Adam joined Bison in 2011 and has a Bachelors of Science degree in Geology with an emphasis in Invertebrate Paleontology from the University of Montana. Adam has five years of civil engineering experience as a land surveyor and two years of experience as a field geologist in gold exploration.
At Bison Adam is a project manager and source testing team member who specializes in isokinetic test methods. He is chairman of the safety committee and an active member of the Source Evaluation Society (SES). He is certified by the SES as a Qualified Individual for the performance of source testing. Adam is well versed in laboratory procedures as specified in EPA methods and is generally tasked with sample recoveries as the on-site field chemist.
Adam conducts compliance and informational tests on all types of industrial facilities. Adam has been heavily involved with compliance demonstration and advocacy for key clients facing new air toxics regulations (TAPS) in the state of Oregon. He is also well versed in Boiler MACT, Cement MACT and wood products-related emissions test matrices.
Adam is certified in the following: Visible Emissions Evaluator for Method 9, Basic Medic First Aid with CPR, and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) trained, QI certification in Groups I, II and IV with the SES.
In his spare time, Adam can often be found fly-fishing on any trout-bearing lake or stream. He is the proud father of two girls and enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with his family.
