SOURCE TESTING PROJECT MANAGER

Bison Engineering, Inc., is a Montana-based, employee-owned environmental engineering firm with over 38 years of experience in helping our clients comply with air quality regulations. We specialize in air quality permitting, emissions testing, ambient air monitoring and gas flow monitor design and manufacturing. We are looking for an experienced source tester to lead emissions testing projects in our Tucson office.

Interested applicants will have at least three years’ experience in emissions testing with instrumental and isokinetic EPA testing methods. A two or four year technical degree is preferred but candidates with sufficient experience will nonetheless be considered. Must have or become QSTI certified within six months of employment. Technical requirements for the position include a working knowledge of regulatory test methods; an ability to operate, maintain and repair testing equipment; and proficiency in algebra, MS Word and Excel. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, good leadership skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams. This challenging position will include regional travel and the nature of the work is, at times, physically demanding, performed in outdoor and industrial settings, and often at elevated heights. A commitment to workplace safety is essential and employees will be subject to drug and alcohol testing. The successful candidate will focus on field testing, prepare written test protocols and reports; perform emission tests; coordinate with clients, team members and regulatory personnel; manage budgets/schedules, and work to secure new projects.
