Bo joined Bison in 2017. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry from Beloit College, Wisconsin. As a staff environmental scientist, Bo works with clients in preparing pre-construction permit applications and modifications, annual emission inventories, compliance audits and certification reports, control technology analyses, operation and maintenance plans, Title V and PSD permit applications, air dispersion modeling, and compliance databases. He also works with the Source Testing group conducting compliance and FYI testing on all types of industrial facilities. He has experience in equipment maintenance/repair, opacity observations, PM10 audits and calibrations, and protocol/report production. Bo is certified by the Source Evaluation Society as a Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI).

Bo previously worked for the Montana Dept. of Environmental Quality as a compliance specialist providing compliance oversight to implement air quality regulations in the state. He also worked with a local source testing company providing air quality consulting, testing and analysis for industrial clients throughout the region.

Bo is certified in the following:  40 Hr. Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, Outdoor Emergency Care Technician, Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) trained, and QSTI exams Groups I, II, II and IV.

Outside of work, Bo enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family.
